a year ago, after being married for almost two years, my husband i bought our first house in the town we first met. however, i was still attending classes at a university four hours away. i lived in greensboro in an apartment with some very lovely ladies in the meantime. left to his own devices, john made no attempt to decorate. in one week, i will be graduating and officially moving into my own house! unfortunately, my husband is on deployment until february of next year. but you know what that means, right? i’m given free reign over the house, which means lots of painting, renovating, and decorating! as picky as he is, john only had one request: don’t make it too girly!
it’s an older 3 bedroom-3 bathroom house with the living room, kitchen, and dining room all open to one another. it needs some tough loving, but it definitely has potential!
