the metropolitan museum of art recently showcased the late alexander mcqueen's extraordinary contribution to fashion. the savage beauty exhibit, which was organized by the costume institute, ran from may 4th until august 7th of this year. don't worry though! if you weren't able to make the trek all the way to new york, the savage beauty website gives an in-depth overview of several pieces in the collection.
the exhibit includes some of alexander wang's most notable pieces such as the girl who lived in a tree ensemble that emma watson wore in an issue of harper's bazaar and the jellyfish ensemble that lady gaga donned in her music video of bad romance.
