versace for h&m
the versace with h&m collaboration has finally debuted (doesn't hit stores until november 19th though)! although considerably cheaper than her typical designs, donatella versace stayed true to her roots. she incorporated iconic versace details like vibrant colors, ridiculous prints, and studded details. i always envision gaudy, elderly italian women donning her designs. you know... the ones with overly tanned skin and mile-high cheek bones (probably granted from the plastic surgery gods). the collection is beautiful in its own rights though.
be sure to check out the wonderfully quirky video ad campaign for the collaboration! i've watched it on repeat for a while now. the music is absolutely perfect, and donatella versace makes a lovely cameo at the end!
sorry for slacking on updating. it's been a busy past few weeks (surprising, i know). i've been helping my mother-in-law with her classes, decorating for christmas, and babysitting my beautiful nieces. i even started my christmas shopping early! well, early for me. this will be the first year that i'm not scrambling for presents!
